your date in. 50% of balance is due 120 days before the wedding date and final number and balance is due 60 days before the wedding date. No dates can be held without receiving deposit amount in full. Booking fee (deposit) is 100% non-refundable as this deposit may be used to lock in numerous suppliers and staff to book them in for your special day and there are hours of work done to create a booking. Once final balance is made it may not be possible to make changes.
Cancellation policy for Weddings
If the wedding is cancelled 31 to 60 days before the wedding, 50% of the total amount is payable.
If the wedding is cancelled 30 days or shorter to the wedding date, the entire whole amount is due and non-refundable.
If the wedding is cancelled 61 days to 120 days before the wedding date, 30% of the entire whole amount is payable.
In certain circumstances a credit note may be issued for a future date if wedding postponement required due to emergency or health reason e.g Corona Virus *Conditions apply.
Cancellation policy for accommodation Kookaburra Hideaway, The Woodcutter's Shed and Wallaby Lodge.
All initial deposits made to hold reservations are non refundable.
Your balance is payable 60 days prior to wedding date and you can also make payments leading up to your booking.
Cancellations made less than 59 days prior to arrival incur a 100% loss of full price of booking unless an exactly priced replacement reservation can be found for cancelled dates. Any shortfall will be taken from refund and a $100 administration fee will be charged. In certain circumstances a credit note may be issued for a future date.* See Corona Virus Special Conditions.
If any bookings are made through a 3rd party website such as Airbnb or Homeaway, their booking and cancellation terms and conditions will

apply, they are completely separate from our terms and conditions and we have no control over them.
Corona Virus Special Conditions
For Weddings from 16th March 2020 onwards we are happy to provide the following special conditions for genuine Corona Virus situations that may affect your wedding.
With your upcoming wedding if your numbers drop due to nervous guests who choose not to attend, we will not charge you per head for those people even if you have already paid the balance. We will refund the difference to you or give you a credit note towards a future stay. If you need to postpone your wedding due to Corona Virus sickness affect the marrying party or key guests, we will issue you with a legally binding credit note value for 2 years with no increase in price for you to use at a future date.*conditions may apply.
Celebrant: Val Haydon is the most convenient and experienced Celebrant for Kookaburra Hideaway/The Wedding Shed. You may use your own Celebrant, however; please note that we cannot take any responsibility for the actions or performance of any other Celebrant chosen by you.
Notice of Intent to Marry – known as NOIM
This important document needs to be lodged with your Celebrant no less that 30 days prior to your Marriage. By acknowledging this contract between us you are acknowledging that you understand it is your responsibility to ensure your NOIM is lodged with your Celebrant on time. If NOIM is not lodged on time a legal Ceremony will not be able to take place until 30 days have elapsed.. VERY IMPORTANT…
Kookaburra Hideaway Ceremony: Marriage ceremonies are held on the grounds at Kookaburra Hideaway. In the event of a rainy day we have undercover area to hold the ceremony. Signing table and chairs and ceremony chairs are included in the package for the ceremony location.

Kookaburra Hideaway: This huge purpose built house has a stunning honeymoon suite at one end of the house and three large queen bedrooms at the other end of the house all with their own bathrooms and some have spa baths. Fully compliant wheelchair accessible bathroom. Maximum adult stay is 12, some children may be added, we will price children upon application. Please note that in the event of any damage to the house or grounds at Kookaburra Hideaway, that Kookaburra Hideaway will hold you liable and will seek adequate compensation via your bond or other sources. Your bond will be $1000 to be paid at least 14 days prior to arrival and will cover damage to both Kookaburra Hideaway, The Wedding Shed and all surrounding property and The Woodcutter’s Shed and or any other on site property.
For Weddings held at The Woodcutter’s Shed a lesser Bond may apply. The terms of this contract also apply to The Woodcutter’s Shed which is part of the Kookaburra Hideaway property.
Change of Venue in case of emergency: In the very unlikely case of an emergency or natural disaster such as fire or flood, Kookaburra Hideaway to be inaccessible. Your ceremony &/or after party/reception will be moved to another location. We will endeavor to replicate the most similar package possible but cannot be held liable if the package is not identical.
Booking Form: We compile information received via email from the client and place this in the content of your contract and running sheet when issued. We urge you to check every detail including phone numbers, date of event, addresses, times, costs, package details, etc. It is the clients’ responsibility to confirm and to notify us of changes. If applicable please notify us via email weddingshq@gmail.com and we will re-issue the amended booking form and re send.
Contact via email: All finalized information will be issued via email and no information received verbally or through text messages, pages, messenger, any form of social media or any other means of contact will be acknowledged as official information for the event day. Please

email any requests and we will acknowledge via email as soon as we receive. If you do not receive a return email, it means we have not received the email and please re send.
Quotes: All quotes are issued via email through Paypal & are valid from 7 days of the date of email quote.
Once quote is accepted your invoice will be sent to you via Paypal and payable via Paypal or credit card. You may also make additional payments to your balance leading up to your interim and final payments, please make all of these via your paypal invoice in order to keep a tally.
Hire charge for the Wedding area is for a minimum of 5 hours once your actual reception starts with all the inclusions below including support crew as outlined. Bar closure is 10pm. Extra hour $500 to 11pm. The venue will be (nicely) closed down at the finish time booked to ensure all guests depart premises safely.
